About Us
Who are we?
The group started in Adelaide in 2008 with a handful of like-minded friends with crime on their minds. It's now a much bigger group of writers from across South Australia. They range from established professional authors and experienced published writers to beginners and determined aspiring writers. The aims are to provide a mutually supportive environment and access to the tools of the crime writer's craft.
What do we do?
We write about crime and mystery in various formats, including short story, novel and script, there is generally a guest speaker, a critique session and sharing of relevant information. Each month one member submits a short piece of work (electronically) for critique at the next meeting.
In August 2010 the Crime Writers SA launched its first anthology, Killing Words. An ebook version of this is currently available on Amazon. http://amzn.to/29be7jM
