Crime, Mystery, Detective and Thriller Writing

Australia

There are so many crime writers in Australia that even a short bibliography of writers would be many pages long.
If you wish to know what is being published and has achieved recognition in the publishing industry, the best place to start is the Ned Kelly Awards, organised by the Crimewriters Association of Australia.

The website provides a list of authors and books placed on the longlist and shortlist for the last few years, along with the category winners for each year. This list can be easily searched in any reputable bookshop or public library.

There is a comprehensive database of Australian crime writers at the following website: http://www.crimedownunder.com/
